one-hour session of personalised career guidance

Time: 9:30am – 1:30pm    Language: English

Format: Online or face-to-face (To be chosen by student)

Expected Outcome:

  • Build clarity of career goals through individual coaching and career planning

  • Identify strategies for personal growth, skill development, potential choices for job application and transition into the workplace

Remarks:

  1. You can indicate your preference of attending the individual session online or face-to-face at the office of SENsational Foundation.

  2. Please bring along your student ID card and CV for the individual session.

  3. The staff of SENsational Foundation may contact you direct for arrangement of the session.

Job Application Strategies & CV Writing

Time: 4:30pm – 5:30pm    Language: English

Expected Outcome:

  • Able to understand the alignment of personal interest and skills to potential opportunities

  • Understand the benefits of career planning

  • Learn how to analyse and prepare a self-assessment of values, interests and skills

  • Utilise this learning to apply in building a strong market ready CV

Interviewing Skills & Accommodation Disclosure in the Workplace

Time: 4:30pm – 5:30pm    Language: English

Expected Outcome:

  • Able to understand the requirements of job interview, different interview settings, employer expectations and essential preparation

  • Analyse the communication strategies for a successful interview

  • Develop a self-introduction using the verbal CV method for networking opportunities

  • Explore effective networking strategies and identify strengths in a large group setting

  • Understand disclosure and reasonable accommodations in the workplace
