Preparing for an interview
Preparing for an interview includes researching the target industry and type of work the organisation is involved in, demonstrating the necessary capabilities on your CV that are required in the target position, getting familiar with different types of interview processes, as well as practicing your skills and approach in handling common interview questions. All these are crucial to ace your interview.
Book a coaching session with our professional coach if you need guidance and advice on pre-interview research, individual / group / case interview preparation, or handling challenging questions. Each coaching session will last for 60 minutes and it will be conducted online via Zoom. You will receive a confirmation email if your booking is successful.

You can log on to the Individual Interview Coaching Booking System with your HKU portal to make the booking.

Absence or lateness without prior notice will result in cancellation of appointment and a lower priority for the future booking.

If you are absent for an appointment after the booking is confirmed, access to the system will be disabled without notice. You should make the commitment to attend the scheduled appointment.

You are responsible for providing the Zoom meeting information (i.e. Zoom meeting ID and passcode) in the booking form.

You are recommended to start the meeting 10 mins prior to the start time. Click “Admit” to have the coach joining the meeting and make him a Co-Host for screen sharing if needed.

You are encouraged to turn on your camera and microphone for better interaction with the coach.

You are required to complete a Feedback Form at the system after the coaching session.

The coaching session will continue when Tropical Storm Warning Signal No. 8 (or a higher number) or the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisted.

If you cannot attend the coaching session due to urgent matters, please notify us as soon as possible via GraduAction@cedars.hku.hk.
